In June of 2023, I started working as a writer and multi-media creator for the US Geological Survey's New York Water Science Center (NYWSC). I take all the important scientific work done by my colleagues and translate it into content everybody can understand and appreciate (blogs, press releases, video scripts, etc.). I also regularly join teams in the field to take photos and video of the work they do. Much of the work I do there is internal and not available to the public, but the social media feeds I manage for the NYWSC are.
